The DPCC committee are so humbled by your messages of support over the last few months. To hear the endorsement and appreciation from the community in attendance at our last meeting in December was overwhelming.
Great credit to our local Donabate Portrane Community Council and volunteers who over the weekend are distributing a very informative flyer along with an urgent fundraising appeal to help with the substantial costs associated with our local community having to take a Judicial review of the recent decision by An Bord Pleanala to grant planning permission to Aledo Developments for 1400 homes at Corballis the vast bulk of which are 1 & 2 bed apartments.. In whatever way you can please make a donation to the Go Fund me page established. All monies donated will make a difference to cover the expertise and costs required for this judicial review.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 well done to Donabate Community Council we wished we had the support of ours in Rush when we had the SHD here but Rush Community Council stayed completely silent except for the Rush Rush Community Development Committee. People in Donabate should know that once they get approved other developers use them as a precedent for their own planning and look for bigger developments, less parking, less green space, all on smaller plots.
